A submachine gun or machine pistol is a compact small-arm with automatic fire capability.
While originally a niche concept conceived in the 1800s, it saw little use in the various wars between Tekkea, Radosis and Sas compared to the larger rifles more suited to long-range engagements, as well as mechanised vehicles. However, the interest for the concept was revived in Ihazon in 1918 after the release of the HT Typewriter.
