Tekkea is a technologically advanced country southwest of Radosis and south of Sas. It has a large industrial sector and is known for technological prowess. The capital and largest city is Yōkama, a major international technology hub. Because of Tekkeans long-lasting international ties, New Common has been taught in equal measure as their native tongue, Gekkōsa, for a long time.

Settlements

While Yokama is the capital and their largest city, Tekkea has several other prominent cities, including:

Economy & politics

Tekkea was likely the first country to industrialise. This has caused secondary industry in particular to become an integral part of Tekkean society, and Tekkea's industrial sector to this day consists primarily of this. They also have a substantial primary industry with mineral mining of bauxite, iron, basalt, copper, rock and oil. In later years, tertiary industry has become gradually a larger part of their economy as automation and productivity increases hit their primary and secondary industries.

The country's political and economic power is to a large degree concentrated in guilds, essentially labour unions of specific industries and trades that each send representatives to a national, centralised syndicate in charge of the country. Their culture is heavily collective; this has caused competition to be look down upon, and profit seeking is highly frowned upon. Hard taxation on profit and legal punishments are carried out to make sure the country's guilds and industries operate for efficiency of the society, not profit.

Tekkea has for a long time avoided military conflict, but has on numerous occasions helped manufacture weapons for other countries, such as during the Thoirazonan War. This has been scrutinised but never gotten any consequences for the parties involved. "The weapons are ensuring peace, not war," says CEO of VERN. "Tekkea's weapon contributions have helped save countless lives."

Ancient History

Legend tells of the native squid people of Tekkea being witches. The witches were said to counjour large volcanos that would spew out magma every leap year. Archeologits have been searching for any former life in the volcanos around Tekkea, and many have lost their lives to burning. Locals from Langenthal City and Choppington say that there are still these witches, living deep in the bowles of the untouched volcanos. This, however, remains unproven.

After an attack on Ihazon, Supreme Ruler Notch fled to Tekkea. He took refuge in Langenthal City for just 9 weeks. Sick with living in the desert, Notch sailed the 43.25830 oceans in search of land he could call home. One Autumn night, Notch's Galley sailed into a storm! The ship was blown off course and sailed into sharp rocks near a cliff. Nobody on-board survived. Through years of tracing map evidence and studying sea currents from the shoes of Tekkea, it is suggested that wreckage from Notch's Galley crashed in the mysterious Farlands. Wreckage beached on shores all over Minecraftia, and the largest piece sits in Langenthal's Museum of Made Up History. It is the torn sail from the ship. Strangley, an image on the sail shows resembalence to Israphelus Fiminul IV, belived to be Notch's idol.

The only non-active volcano known of stands in Langenthal City. It is a very keen toruist attraction, though tourists never stay long, due to the city being built in a desert.
