Tog Modern Survival Tekkit was a hardcore legit survival server running Tekkit 2.1.1. It was the third server created, after Tog SAS, and started on a plain map twice. Tekkit allowed for a lot more gameplay variety opposed to normal vanilla, and many structures took advantage of industrial mods like IndustrialCraft and BuildCraft. The main currency was gold nuggets.

The server was eventually retired, and Tog SAS was converted to Tekkit instead.

When Tog MST was created, it utilized Tekkit 1.1.4. After Tekkit released a new launcher, the map was corrupted upon updating and could not be used, hence, a new map for the same server had to be used for the first time.

Instead of treating the original MST as non-existent, it was instead treated as a still-existing location that was hard to reach. This was the beginning of the interconnected lore that eventually took place between servers. All server maps are now considered part of the same universe.
