Serveways
Serveways, shortened SV, are a series of main artery roads connecting the largest cities in Ihazon.
SV1
The first serveway officially opened, the SV1 stretches from the heart of Downtown Langenthal through Gruvania and Tinville to Trondheim. From its humble beginnings in 1930, then only connecting Langenthal with the commuter city of Gruvania, it has seen several expansions and overhauls throughout the ages. Today it remains Ihazon's most important artery road.
SV2
The SV2 is a Mark 1 motorway stretching from Downtown Langenthal to Serland. Its primary use is of a commuter route from east to west Langenthal, but it also serves as the main road for heavy traffic going westbound from the capital's industrial area, as well as connecting the new Watr.Wud.
SV3
A Mark 1 motorway that serves as a ring road within Langenthal, connecting its southeastern edge with Downtown, Langenthal International Airport and Central Station. Half of SV3 is underground, and the other half is elevated high above the ground, making it the country's only skyway.
SV4
SV4 only connects Gruvania to New Summerset, but is nonetheless an important artery as it is the only asphalt road connecting the cities through the mountaineous areas between them.
SV5
In the late 70s, plans for an underground expressway connecting the south of Langenthal to a planned resort and port area in the south of Central Ihazon saw the beginning of the construction of the SV5. However, the destination never saw the light of day and the tunnel construction was stopped halfway through, leaving only an exit for the temporary town erected to house workers for the project. This town would later go on to be known as Nomansland, and so this obscure underground road has been left with the only purpose of being this city's only official road connection.
