Divine

Divine are a rare race famed for their extremely long lifespans and incredible power. They are commonly believed to be descendants of God, although no claims have ever been proven. The most famous divine in modern times is Togfan, mayor of Langenthal.

Most divine appear to be normal humans in looks and personality. However, they possess supernatural traits that are often invisible on the surface, as well as being able to spawn wings. This rare and bizarre trait is not seen in any other race.

History

Throughout history, divine have always been a rare sight but very influential in shaping the world once they interfere. During the high ages of Radosis, many divine were known and worshipped, believed to symbolize different concepts and being able to unleash wrath upon opposing foes. Indeed, divine battle prowess were shown during the 1337 Invasion of Ihazon, where many divine fought on Radosis' side. Countless Ihazonan lives were lost in the brutal onslaughts that decimated a large portion of their population, many of which were caused by divine.

After Radosis collapsed in 1350, many divine were lost in time as well as recordings of their nature. It is possible it was known where divine have descended from, but this information is long gone.
