Shaan Xiin, meaning Heart of the Mountain in Maaoshé, is an eastern hegemony located directly east of Misthliþ. It is surrounded by mountain ranges, making it exceptionally hard to reach by normal means. The only land connection is through The Forest of Death, a large desolate mountain pass that reaches from Shaan Xiin's capital, Shàolín Zhii Xiin, to the Misthliþa borders to Radosis.

Stories of life in Shaan Xiin is only known from exiles who cross the Great Desert of Radosis--Henxiin--a punishment reserved to the harshest crime in Shaan Xiin.
