Vayne Mayne is a Sett-born Langenthäler business mangate, globetrotter, coffee expert, and the founder of Mayne's Coffee.
Early Life
Vayne was born in Langenthal into the wealthy Mayne family. From a young age she had a keen interest in experiencing the world. Because of her family, her education was primarily home tutored and she was taught a great deal about culture. Yet she insisted on finishing her education in a public college. In a later interview she has said, "finishing higher education at home was no option for me, y'know. I had to experience what everyone else did, and after all, why should public colleges not be competent enough? Y'know, wouldn't it mean we had a big problem if they weren't?"
One day in college, as she was looking for a coffee with her friends, she noticed the lack of reliable coffee stores. The few that existed were overcrowded and "too bound by tradition", as she put it. Therefore she decided to travel out the world to experience the world's coffee, as she did right after graduating college.
Start-up of Mayne's Coffee
When returning in 2014, she immediately founded Mayne's Coffee as a dedicated coffee store chain that would serve good coffee that was inspired by all edges of the world. After their initial start-up, the business grew in size as more and more people took an interest in the convenience of her store chain.
In an interview in 2018, she explained her visions of the future: "I think coffee should, y'know, be available to anyone at a good price. My goal is for a Mayne's Coffee to be in every corner of the nation, so, y'know, everyone can experience a good cup of coffee whenever, wherever." In 2016, Mayne's Coffee was already the leading coffee store chains by far, and had out-competed several of the older coffee houses.
