The City of Kemur was a major city located on the border of Ihazon and Thoiria. During the 1960s, Kemur was in good growth and was a major trading hub in the late 70s, due to its location on the Thoirazonan border. During the 80s it was devastated in the Thoirazonan War, leaving nothing but rumble as a result. It has never been repopulated. The main road between Ihazon and Thoiria is still running through the ruined city.

History

Kemur was an old city, and was an active trading town for many hundred years. The rise of Ihazon saw many people move from Kemur to the large cities to chase new hopes and opportunities. It was revitalized after Thoiria was established, and it could serve yet again as a trading hub between the two large nations.

During its growth, there was increasing tension about the nationality of Kemur, due to its border location. Throughout the existence of Thoiria it remained neutral, until 1978, when it decided to side with Thoiria. At this point, Kemur had grown its own industry and was deemed very valuable. The two nations both feared it would be taken control over by one another, which escalated into war after the Night of Song Wives.

After the war, Kemur was left desolated and in ruins. Neither countries wished to provoke another war by taking control over it, nor spend the resources necessary to rebuild it. The city is now only a scar in the history of Thoirazon, visible to everyone who travels by road between the nations.
