The Parliament is the parliamentary headquarters of Ihazon, located in Downtown Langenthal. Its large, sand-coloured facade houses the various administrative functions of the nation, along with its parliament and government.
The parliament has a total of 106 seats, with representatives from all cities' multi-party constituencies. Langenthal has by far the largest constituency and amounts for most of the seats.
The current government is a coalition between the Liberals and the Techno Union, together amassing 64 seats in the Parliament. The largest opposition party is the Socialist Party, with 23 seats currently. The leading party's leader is appointed President of Ihazon, and is the executive chief and head-of-state. With Ihazon's influence in the global picture, this title is viewed as the most powerful political position in the world.
Elections
National elections are held every 4 years, although a government is allowed to call for an early election.
