Pentacle of Percy

The Pentacle of Percy, sometimes called Pentacle of Boris and known collectively as Percinists, is an armed religious cult of Asseculs based in Ihazon.

The cultists are worshippers of the Demigod of Destruction and believe this to be the deceased Borisdotpercy, who is rumoured to have been re-awoken and be alive in Netherookz. As the self-proclaimed disciples of Borisdotpercy, they are sworn enemies of the Church of Langenthal and have stated their goal being "seeing the world erupt in chaos". They justify this by claiming the modern world has corrupted man and that therefore the Demigod of Destruction has resurfaced in his true immortal form to cleanse the world.

For several hundred years the Church of Langenthal has been target to terrorist acts from Percinists. These acts include blowing up churches, repeatedly burning down Trondheim, assassinating key figures of the Church and distributing pornographic magazines to minors. They almost got away with it, too, hadn't it been for the meddling Crusaders tasked to hunt them down, and that annoying Togfan.

Outside of these direct attacks, Percinists are rumoured to be practitioners of several forms of magic, all of which are forbidden by the Church of Langenthal. The worst of these is blood magic, an ancient ritualistic school of magic that experts doubt even exists. Little is known about this form of magic other than its use of ritualistic pentacles, and that it is a pathway to many abilities some would consider supernatural.
